Football’s governing body announced the 12 venues that will host matches during the competition. FIFA announced on Saturday the venues that will host the 2025 Club World Cup .

Twelve stadiums in the United States will host the competition, which will feature the best 32 teams in the world and will determine its first champion under this new format on July 13, 2025 at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

“The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be played in 12 fantastic stadiums , where players from the 32 best teams in the world will write a new chapter in the history of world football,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino at the unveiling of the venues . “This new FIFA tournament is the only example of true solidarity and inclusivity that exists globally in club football, allowing clubs from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Central and North America to play against the biggest clubs from Europe and South America in an incredible World Cup that will go a long way in growing club football and fostering talent across the globe.”

In addition to Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, where the Grand Final will be played, the other 11 venues that will host the 2025 Club World Cup are Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Rose Bowl (Pasadena), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), Camping World Stadium (Orlando), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle) and Audi Field (Washington, DC).

The statement said the Club World Cup draw will be held in December 2024, once the 32 teams that will participate in the competition have been defined.

Where and when will the new Club World Cup be played?

The first edition will be held in the United States. It will start on June 15 and the final will be on July 13. This means that it will last for a similar period to a World Cup for senior national teams.

How many teams will participate and how will the places be distributed?

There will be 32 participating clubs from the six regional confederations. Europe will have 12 representatives; South America 6; Concacaf, Africa and Asia 4; and Oceania 1. In addition, there will be a club from the United States as host.

What will the format of the 2025 Club World Cup be like?

It will be the same as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. That is, there will be eight groups of four teams and the top two will advance to the round of 16. There, the single-match qualifying rounds will begin until the final.
