According to Emojipedia, all mobile devices, both iOS and Android, will have access to the new catalog of emojis throughout 2025, although it has not yet been specified in which month they will be released. The site also detailed that the most anticipated emoticon will be the tired face with dark circles, which won the World Emoji Awards, with more than 60 percent of the votes. Second and third place went to the purple splash and the shovel, respectively.

The other emojis, such as the leafless tree, are intended to raise awareness about drought and climate change. Other emoticons also have their own purpose, such as putting Sark Island on the map, illustrating fingerprints and enlarging illustrations so that users can express themselves comfortably.

The operating services will create their own versions for iOS and Android, but it is expected that the base will be the one that Emojipedia published on its social networks.
