Microsoft is preparing to update its hardware catalog and the Surface Laptop 2025 has appeared listed on an online store with Intel’s latest laptop processors as its biggest novelty.
Microsoft is promoting its Surface devices with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X ARM processors as a paradigm shift in terms of AI capabilities, efficiency, and battery life. They were even the first (and only) processors at the launch of the Copilot+ PC platform . Later, both AMD and Intel presented their alternatives to Qualcomm, but under the x86 architecture.

We assume the version will be available in two versions depending on its screen size, 13.5 and 15 inches . It will have thinner bezels, more rounded screen corners and a greater number of ports. Of course, the power of the neural processing unit will be key for Microsoft to deploy the artificial intelligence features promised for Windows 11.
A Surface Laptop with a high-end Intel Core 200 V CPU could become one of the most solid offerings in its class, one of the best in Windows. The fight with Apple will be another matter, as the company from Cupertino is preparing the launch of MacBook Pro laptops with the new M4 SoCs.
