The PlayStation Network platform recovers activity after the global crash of the service

The online gaming service PlayStation Network (PSN) recovered almost all of its activity this morning after it presented global technical problems during the early hours of the morning that prevented users of Sony consoles from accessing their accounts and video games.

According to the official PSN site, the platform reported that it had recovered all services after some sections were in poor condition for hours and prevented access to online sessions or creating accounts.

Likewise, the specialized portal DownDetector collected dozens of user notifications starting at 3 in the morning indicating that the PSN service was not working correctly.

This morning, the company apologized for the inconvenience and, in its X account in Japan, thanked the patience of users, who criticized the lack of official information from the company on social networks.

At the last minute, PlayStation confirmed that it has recovered the network failures and “the problem has been resolved.”

In January, the company announced that its PSN online service surpassed the record of 123 million monthly active users, more than 10 million more than the previous year.
