According to the state media, some of the affected municipalities were Mifdoun, Ansar, Deir al Qanun or the Nabatiyeh district, but the bombings also targeted “the southern entrance” of Tire, from where thousands of people have been displaced in the last days to flee the wave of air attacks.

Precisely, this morning the Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of about twenty towns near Tire and a little further north, while announcing the sending of more soldiers to the area after the Israeli forces began a dawn raid. series of limited ground raids.

“Hezbollah’s activities force the Army to act forcefully against the group. The Army has no intention of harming them, so for their safety, they must evacuate their homes immediately and head north of the Awali River,” he said in a statement. message from the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli Army, Avichay Adraee.

For its part, the ANN indicated that the bombings also affected some towns in the Hermel region, in northeastern Lebanon, and a civil defense center in Dahye that had been evacuated moments before the attack following an Israeli order issued. last night in several areas of these southern suburbs of Beirut.

In addition, the Chiyah area and two surrounding buildings were hit by the attacks against the suburbs, the agency added.

Israel announced on Monday that it had begun a “limited, localized and targeted” ground incursion into Lebanon.

Yesterday alone, Israeli bombings killed at least 55 people and injured 156 others in southern and eastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

For its part, Hezbollah has announced that this Wednesday it repelled the entry of an Israeli “infantry force” that was trying to enter the border town of Oddaisseh, within the framework of the ground offensive that began early Monday morning against southern Lebanon.

In total, the brutal bombing campaign in about two weeks has left more than a thousand dead and left a million displaced, many of whom have fled to areas considered safe further north in the country, including Beirut, although tens of thousands have also crossed the border into Syria.
