Several weeks after the singer filed for divorce from Affleck, she attended the world premiere of her film ‘Unstoppable’ at the Toronto International Film Festival. Despite having co-produced the film with Matt Damon, Ben did not attend the event.
Lopez, who stars in the film alongside Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale and Don Cheadle, wore a mirror-effect dress with a slit on the sides and black bows. She accessorised with silver sandals and a matching clutch.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck could be involved in a financial battle
On August 20, the second anniversary of her second wedding ceremony, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lopez listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
In addition to other measures, the singer requested to remove the surname Affleck from her name and reclaim her maiden name to return to her former name: Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
Sources with knowledge of the situation told TMZ that the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement and did not come to a financial agreement before JLo filed for divorce.
Given this situation, any profits or benefits that the two have earned during their nearly two years of marriage are joint property. According to the documents, Jennifer waived spousal support and is asking the judge to deny it to Ben as well.
Since they did not have children together, there are no custody issues. However, they could enter into a strong financial battle due to the lack of a prenuptial agreement. Both will have to agree on how to divide the fortune obtained during their union, which could take time.
