Houston authorities say man allegedly stabbed ex-girlfriend and fled

HOUSTON – A 34-year-old man is wanted by Houston authorities for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend multiple times.

The woman’s body was found dead on Saturday, August 17 near the 8200 block of Hockley Street at approximately 8:55 a.m.

The fugitive from justice was identified as Oscar Daniel Vega Espinoza, he is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the 337th State District Court.

The identity of the 30-year-old victim is pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to Houston authorities, the woman’s body was found in a pond of water near the Bray Bayou Greenway trails.

Authorities are asking the community to contact the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 713-222-TIPs.
