Apple will present its iPhone 16 and its new smartwatch next Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The information comes from a rumor shared by Apple leaker Mazin Bu on X (the social network formerly known as Twitter).
In the same post, the leaker attached an alleged cover page of an invitation to physically attend the event, stating: “Please note that invitations are not transferable.”
According to the leaker, the invitation was provided to him by a source who decided to remain anonymous.

Although this is a rumor that has not been confirmed by Apple, the reality does not seem too far away: the company led by Tim Cook usually introduces its new line of phones and smart watches on the second Tuesday of September.
Indeed, the 2023 Apple Wanderlust event was held on Tuesday, September 12 and included the iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 lineups.
What is expected from Apple?
Apple’s upcoming event is expected to see the unveiling of the new iPhone 16 lineup and the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 smartwatches. The iPhone 16 series is rumored to include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.
Majin Bu has indicated that the Pro lineup would incorporate a new button, called the “capture button,” located on one of the sides of the device, specifically at the bottom. MacRumors adds that the “capture button” would have a pressure sensor, allowing different functions to be performed depending on the force applied. The iPhone 16 Pro would be available in four colors: white, green, red, and brown.
Additionally, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a higher capacity battery and a stainless steel battery case to prevent overheating.
According to Majin Bu, the iPhone 16 will be available in five colors: white, black, blue, dark green, and light pink, while the iPhone 15 colors are black, light blue, green, yellow, and light pink.
There will also be changes to the design of the cameras, with the iPhone 16’s lenses arranged vertically, unlike the iPhone 15’s diagonal arrangement. In addition, it is rumored that the iPhone 16 may feature an increase in screen size, a change that hasn’t been seen since the iPhone 12, according to leaker Sonny Dixon.
There have been no rumors regarding Apple’s new series of smartwatches. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has indicated that the technology company would be working on a smartwatch made of hard plastic material.
It is important to remember that all this information has come from leaks and has not been officially confirmed by the company. Official details will probably not be revealed until the presentation event of the devices, which traditionally takes place in September.
iPhone 16 Operating System
